1. "is this normal?"

I’ve always been confident in my own skin but not always comfortable. Growing up, I dealt with recurring hot flashes, mouth ulcers, dizziness, and acne, and was repeatedly told that hormonal birth control was the answer. After cycling through various prescriptions with little improvement, I began to wonder less about how to mask my symptoms and more about why they were happening in the first place.

2. HORMONE CHAOS

In an effort to improve my recurring symptoms, I tried to take control of my health through nutrition and fitness—or at least what I believed that meant at the time. I grew up thinking that being healthy required eating fewer calories and pushing myself through intense workouts. So that’s exactly what I did. But as you might guess, it didn’t work, and my symptoms persisted.

3. finding my own resources

A free nutrition seminar became the first turning point in my health journey. Learning about the power of protein led me to make simple swaps, and I quickly noticed real changes—more muscle, less body fat, and reduced hormonal symptoms. That one shift sparked a deeper curiosity about how to heal my body from the inside, out. Even while working full-time as a speech-language pathologist, I used every bit of free time to dive into health podcasts, experiment with high-protein recipes, and develop new, healthy habits. I was healing, enjoying the process, and realized I wanted to share it with others.

4. bringing my passion to you

I quickly became the go-to person for my friends and family when it came to all things health and wellness, and I realized how much I loved sharing what I was learning. I knew I wanted to do more with this passion but wasn’t sure where to start. When my dietitian suggested exploring health coaching, I didn’t hesitate. I enrolled in IIN’s Health Coaching Program, and I’ve been helping women find balance, confidence, and lasting wellness ever since.
